LRT3 Signing Ceremony between Prasarana Malaysia Berhad, MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd and CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Co Ltd – Siemens Limited China – Tegap Dinamik Sdn Bhd consortium

On 2 August 2017, Prasarana Malaysia Berhad (Prasarana), MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK) and the CRRC Zhuhou Locomotive Co Ltd (CRRC ZELC) – Siemens Limited China – Tegap Dinamik Sdn Bhd consortium held a ceremony on the signing of the LRT3 Light Rail Vehicles (LRV) work package. The event was attended by Mr. Huang Huikang, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Malaysia; Tan Sri Ismail Adam, Chairman, Prasarana Group; Dato’ Sri Azmi Abdul Aziz, Group President and Chief Executive Officer, Prasarana; Mr. Ong Gin Lip, Project Director, MRCBGK; Mr. Liu Hualong, Chairman, CRRC Corporation Limited; Mr. Lothar Herrmann, President and Chief Executive Officer, Siemens Limited China and Mr. Ahmad Lazri bin Long Ahmad, Managing Director, Tegap Dinamik Sdn Bhd. An estimated 150 guests attended the event, comprising of Prasarana and MRCBGK’s employees, as well as members of the media. The launch began with a speech by Mr. Lothar Herrmann, President and Chief Executive Officer, Siemens Limited China, followed by a speech by Mr. Liu Hualong, Chairman, CRRC Corporation Limited, and a speech by Prasarana’s Group Chairman, Tan Sri Ismail Adam. The event further witnessed the official signing of the documents.
