SHAH ALAM, Selangor – 12 March, 2018: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the Project Delivery Partner (PDP) of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be lane closures to facilitate LRT3 project preliminary works along:

Jalan Tropicana Selatan 1 (From 13 March to 19 March 2018)

The lane closures at Jalan Tropicana Selatan 1 will commence from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. the next day. Normal traffic flow will be restored before the morning peak hours.

Each stage will be conducted intermittently and during the closure, motorists to and from Jalan Tropicana Selatan 1 will be diverted to the opposite lane by flagmen.

Stage 1: Two lanes closure along Jalan Tropicana Selatan 1 (Damansara Toll bound) will be closed for approximately 70 meter and motorists will be diverted into the opposite lane via contraflow.

Stage 2 : Partial lane closure along Jalan Tropicana Selatan 1 (Damansara Toll bound) will be closed intermittently for approximately 10 meter and motorists will be guided by the flagmen at both end using “STOP and GO” method of traffic flow.

Stage 3 : Partial of one lane along Jalan Tropicana Selatan 1 (near Excelturf) will be closed intermittently for approximately 10 meter and motorists will be guided by the flagmen at both end using “STOP and GO” method of traffic flow.

Lorong 7A, Sungai Kayu Ara (From 13 March to 26 March 2018)

The partial lane closure at Lorong 7A will begin from No. 9, Lorong 7A up to Lorong 7C, from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.

During the closure, motorists to and from Lorong 7A and Lorong 7C will be diverted to the opposite lane by flagmen at both end using “STOP and GO” method of traffic flow (as indicated by GREEN arrows in the map) and directional signage.

Jalan Bridge 21/64 (From 13 March to 14 May 2018)

The partial lane closure will be implemented intermittently with 10 meter on each stage for a stretch of 500 meter, from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. the next day. Normal traffic flow will be restored before the morning peak hours.

During the closure, motorists to and from Jalan Bridge 21/64 will be diverted to the next lane by flagmen at both end using “STOP and GO” method of traffic flow (as indicated by GREEN arrows in the map) and directional signage.
