TRAFFIC ANNOUNCEMENT : Traffic Diversions at Jalan Meru, Klang

SHAH ALAM, 7 August 2018: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the Project Delivery Partner (PDP) of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be traffic diversions starting from Your Hotel until Syarikat Elektrik Tong Seng at Jalan Meru, Klang. This diversions will commence by phases starting from 13 until 15 August 2018.

The phases of traffic diversions are as follows: 

Phase 1 : 13 until 14 August 2018 (10.00 p.m to 5.00 a.m)

 The left-most lane (towards Setia Alam) along Jalan Meru will be closed starting from Your Hotel until Syarikat Elektrik Tong Seng. Motorists on Jalan Meru who wish to go to Persiaran Pulau Pinang will be diverted into the inner road as indicated by the GREEN arrows in the map or turn left at the traffic light junction as indicated by the BLUE arrows on the map below.

Phase 2 : 15 August 2018 (10.00 p.m to 5.00 a.m)

 Part of the slip road in front of Syarikat Elektrik Tong Seng will be closed. Motorists on Jalan Meru (from Klang/ Banting bound) heading to Persiaran Pulau Pinang will be diverted slightly as indicated by the BLUE arrows in the map.

The diversion is implemented following approval from Klang Municipal Council and Malaysian Public Works Department (JKR). Motorists are reminded to exercise caution and adhere to advance warning signs when travelling in the area during the construction period.
