Reason  To ease and improve traffic flow along Persiaran Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, Klang to facilitate LRT3 construction works.

 

 SHAH ALAM, 7 September 2018: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the Project Delivery Partner (PDP) of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be alternative routes available for motorists who are travelling between Klang town and Banting. Besides commuting on Persiaran Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, motorists now can use alternative routes starting from 10 September 2018 until 31 March 2019.

 

The alternative routes involve the following locations:

 Alternative Route A: From Klang Town to Banting

From Bulatan Simpang Lima, motorists can proceed to Persiaran Raja Muda Musa and continue to Lebuh Turi and Persiaran Pegaga, then make a left turn into Jalan Batu Unjur and continue their journey to Banting as indicated by the BLUE arrows in the map.

 

Alternative Route B: From Banting to Klang Town

Motorists can turn left at the traffic light junction near BP Healthcare, to proceed into Jalan Batu Unjur, and turn right into Persiaran Pegaga. At the roundabout, take the second turn to continue into Lebuh Turi and turn right into Persiaran Raja Muda Musa and head straight to Klang Town as indicated by the PURPLE arrows in the map.

 

Alternative Route C: From Klang Town to Taman Sri Andalas

From Bulatan Simpang Lima, motorists can proceed to Persiaran Raja Muda Musa and continue their journey to Lebuh Turi. At the roundabout, take the first turn into Persiaran Seraya to head to Persiaran Tengku Ampuan Rahimah as indicated by the ORANGE arrows in the map.

 

Alternative Route D: From Banting to Taman Sri Andalas

At the traffic light junction near BP Healthcare, motorists can turn left into Jalan Batu Unjur and turn right into Persiaran Pegaga. At the roundabout, take the third turn into Persiaran Seraya to head to Persiaran Tengku Ampuan Rahimah as indicated by GREEN arrows in the map.

 

 

The diversion is implemented following the approval from the Klang Municipal Council and the Malaysian Public Works Department (JKR). Motorists are reminded to exercise caution, adhere to advance warning and directional signages when travelling in the area during the construction period.
