Traffic Announcement: Road Closures at the Slip Road of Jalan Lontar Peluru 13/39, Shah Alam from 1 June 2019 to 31 December 2019

SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 28 May 2019: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be road closures and traffic diversions to facilitate site clearing, utilities relocation, bored pile and pier column construction works for the LRT3 project.

The road closures, which will be implemented in two stages, will take place in front of Stadium Malawati and at the slip roads of Jalan Lontar Peluru 13/39, Shah Alam from 1 June 2019 to 31 December 2019 (Monday to Sunday) for 24 hours.

During this time, motorists heading towards Jalan Lontar Peluru 13/39 via the slip road on Persiaran Sukan (Shah Alam-bound) will be diverted to Jalan Tukul Besi 13/41.

The closures will be implemented in two stages as follows:

(a) Stage 1(1 June 2019 to 14 June 2019): The closures will be re-opened on Sundays and from 13 to 14 June 2019

(b) Stage 2 (15 June 2019 to 31 December 2019): Long-term road closures for seven months
