Traffic Announcement: Road Closure and Traffic Diversions at Slip Road heading to Lebuh Bandar Utama from 26 July 2019 to 30 October 2019

SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR –   19 JULY 2019: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be a short-term road closure on the slip road heading to Lebuh Bandar Utama to facilitate works such as relocation of utilities, road line marking, installation of flexible posts, installation of plastic/ concrete barriers, construction of a new small traffic island, bored piling works, installation of cofferdam, pile cap works, pier works, pier head works and launching of U-Girder for the LRT3 project from 26 July 2019 to 30 October 2019, Monday to Sunday.

The closures will be implemented in stages as follows:

• Stage 1 (26 July to 28 July 2019): Three (3) day trial run road closure
• Stage 2 (29 July to 30 October 2019): Short-term road closure

During the closure, motorists heading towards Lebuh Bandar Utama via the slip road on Sprint Highway (Klang-bound) will be diverted as indicated on the map below:

For heavy vehicles, drivers will need to use the alternative route via slip road on Jalan Tropicana Selatan 1, passing Jalan Tropicana Selatan and Persiaran Tropicana before proceeding to Lebuh Bandar Utama as indicated on the map below:
