SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 13 November 2019: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be temporary road closures and traffic diversions on the following locations:

Location 1: Persiaran Kerjaya, Shah Alam (both Shah Alam-bound and Subang/Kuala Lumpur-bound)

Purpose: To facilitate pier cap launching works

Date: 15, 22 and 27 November 2019 from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

 Full road closures will be implemented on Persiaran Kerjaya, in front of Politeknik Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah (Subang/Kuala Lumpur-bound) and in front of Pos Laju office (Shah Alam-bound). However, only the right lanes on Jalan Kontraktor U1/14 and Jalan Subang will be closed temporarily.

Motorists heading to Persiaran Kerjaya (Subang/Kuala Lumpur-bound) will be required to use Jalan Batu Tiga Lama during the closures. For heavy vehicles, drivers may use the alternative route via Federal Highway.

Motorists on Persiaran Kerjaya heading towards Shah Alam will be diverted as indicated on the map below:

 

Location 2: Persiaran Batu Nilam 1

Purpose: To facilitate utilities relocation, piling and pier works as approved by Majlis Perbandaran Klang (MPK)

Date: 16 November 2019 to 29 February 2020, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Closure A: The leftmost lane and slip road on Persiaran Batu Nilam 1 (opposite the shop lots on Lorong Batu Nilam 21A)

During the closures, motorists on Persiaran Batu Nilam 1 heading towards Jalan Langat and Klang will be diverted as indicated on the map below:

 

Date: 1 March 2020 to 31 July 2020, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Closure B: The rightmost lanes on both bounds of Persiaran Batu Nilam 1

During the closures, motorists from Persiaran Batu Nilam 1 heading towards Jalan Langat and motorists on Jalan Langat heading towards Persiaran Batu Nilam 1 will be diverted as indicated on the map below:

 

Date: 1 August 2020 to 30 November 2020, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Closure C:  The left lane and slip road on Persiaran Batu Nilam 1 (opposite AEON Mall car park area)

During the closure, motorist from Jalan Langat heading towards Persiaran Batu Nilam 1 will be diverted as indicated on the map below:

 

Location 3: Jalan Plumbum U7/U & Persiaran Permai, opposite KFC Seksyen 7 Shah Alam (Lebuh Keluli-bound)

Purpose: To facilitate Indah Water Konsortium (IWK) sewerage relocation works

 

Date: 16 November 2019 to 31 January 2020 (Monday to Saturday) from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Closure A: One lane on Jalan Plumbum U7/U

 

Date: 20 November 2019 to 31 January 2020 (Monday to Saturday) from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Closure B: The slip road on Persiaran Permai, opposite KFC Seksyen 7, Shah Alam (Lebuh Keluli-bound)

During the closures, the affected parking bays along Jalan Plumbum U7/U will be closed along with several parking bays on Jalan Plumbum T7/T. Motorists will be diverted as indicated on the map below:

 

Motorists are advised to follow the traffic signage and flagmen during the road closures.
