SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 23 November 2019: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the main contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be a one lane closure and traffic diversion on Jalan Meru, Klang to facilitate guideway launching and other related works for the LRT3 project. The left lane (Klang Town-bound) will be closed for a total stretch of 500m intermittently at night from 26 November 2019 to 30 November 2020, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. During the day, the lane will be re-opened, and traffic will resume as usual.

During the closure, motorists will be diverted as indicated on the map below:

 

The diversions are implemented following the approval from the Klang Municipal Council (MPK) and the Malaysian Public Works Department (JKR).

 

We apologise for any inconvenience caused to the public and greatly appreciate your kind understanding and patience as we build LRT3 for the betterment of the future, and in improving Klang Valley’s public transport system.
