SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 1 January 2021 MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be lane closures and traffic diversions on Persiaran Permai from 4 January 2021 to 4 March 2021 (Monday to Sunday) to facilitate LRT3 project-related works at the following locations:

Closure A: The junction at Persiaran Permai (opposite Jalan Plumbum 7/101 junction) will be closed for 24 hours

During the closure, motorists on Jalan Plumbum 7/101 heading towards UiTM have to make a U-turn at the Jalan Plumbum 7/95 junction, before heading straight towards UiTM. Motorists on Persiaran Permai (UiTM-bound) heading to Jalan Plumbum 7/101 have to make a U-turn at the Jalan Plumbum 7/98 junction towards Persiaran Bestari, before turning left as indicated on the map below:

Closure B: Persiaran Permai (between Jalan Plumbum 7/95 and Jalan Plumbum 7/98        junctions, UiTM bound) will be closed from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Motorists on Jalan Plumbum 7/101 heading towards UiTM will be diverted to Jalan Plumbum 7/95, Jalan Plumbum 7/98 before heading back to Persiaran Permai. Motorists from Persiaran Bestari heading towards UiTM will be diverted to Jalan Plumbum 7/95, Jalan Plumbum 7/98 before heading back to Persiaran Permai as indicated on the map below:

The diversions are implemented following the approval from the Shah Alam Municipal Council (MBSA). Throughout the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) period, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction works.
