SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 16 March 2021: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the main contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be an intermittent road closure and traffic diversion on Jalan Langat, Klang (from opposite Shell to Hotel 99, Banting/KESAS-bound) to facilitate ‘U-trough’ launching and LRT3 project-related works from 19 March 2021 to 30 April 2021, (Monday to Sunday), from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

During the closure, motorists on Jalan Langat heading towards Banting/KESAS will be diverted to Jalan Salam before heading back on to Jalan Langat.

 

The diversion is implemented following the approval from the Klang Public Works Department (JKR Klang) and Klang Municipal Council (MPK). Throughout the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) period, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction activities.
