Media Release: Road closure on Persiaran Dato’ Menteri from 15 June 2021 to 15 June 2022

SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 13 June 2021: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be a road closure on Persiaran Dato’ Menteri (from Pos Malaysia to PKNS Complex, Bulatan Kayangan & Bulatan Permai-bound) as well as traffic diversions to facilitate U-girder launching works and LRT3 project-related works from 15 June 2021 to 15 June 2022, (Monday to Sunday) for 24 hours.

During the closures, motorists will be diverted as indicated on the map below:

• Motorists from Bulatan Kayangan heading towards Bulatan Permai will be diverted onto Persiaran Damai, Persiaran Perbandaran and Persiaran Tasik before heading back onto Persiaran Dato Menteri.
• Motorists from Pos Malaysia heading towards Bulatan Permai will be diverted onto Persiaran Dato’ Menteri, Persiaran Damai, Persiaran Perbandaran and Persiaran Tasik before heading back onto Persiaran Dato Menteri.
• Motorists from BSN Tower heading towards Bulatan Permai will be diverted onto Persiaran Bandaraya, Persiaran Perbandaran and Persiaran Tasik before heading back onto Persiaran Dato Menteri.
• Motorists from Bulatan Permai heading towards Bulatan Kayangan will be diverted onto Persiaran Tasik, Persiaran Perbandaran, Persiaran Damai and turn left onto Persiaran Dato Menteri.
• Motorcyclists from LKSA heading towards Federal Highway will be diverted to the left on Persiaran Sultan and head straight towards Federal Highway.

The diversions are implemented following the approval from the Shah Alam Municipal Council (MBSA). Throughout the Movement Control Order (MCO) period, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction activities.
