SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 23 JUNE 2021: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be a road closure and traffic diversions on Jalan Tropicana Selatan 1 (opposite  Merchant Square) to facilitate U-Girder launching and LRT3 project-related works from 26 June 2021 to 3 July 2021, 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m (Monday to Saturday).

During the closures, motorists will be diverted as below:

  • Motorists from SMK Tropicana heading towards the NKVE Highway will be diverted by making a U-Turn opposite the Bayu Puteri Apartment back to Jalan Tropicana Selatan then left to Jalan Tropicana Selatan 1 and finally to Jalan Tropicana Selatan nearby Sekolah Kebangsaan Tropicana.
  • Motorists from the NKVE highway heading towards Bayu Puteri Apartment will need to head straight, then turn right to Jalan Tropicana Selatan 1 opposite Sekolah Kebangsaan Tropicana and finally turn right onto Jalan Tropicana Selatan.

The diversions are implemented following the approval from Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ). Throughout the Movement Control Order (MCO) period, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction activities.
