SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR –24 June 2021: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be intermittent road closures and traffic diversions on Lebuh Keluli, Shah Alam and Federal Highway 2, Klang (Persiaran Bestari and Klang-bounds) to facilitate long span works for the LRT3 project from 27 June 2021 to 24 December 2021 (Monday to Sunday), from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.  at the following locations:

 

Closure A: The slip road on Lebuh Keluli, (Federal Highway 2-bound).

During the closure, motorists will be diverted as indicated on the map below:

  • Motorists from Persiaran Bestari/Lebuh Keluli heading towards Federal Highway (KL- bound) will be diverted onto Lorong Keluli 1a, Lorong Keluli 1c and U-turn at the traffic lights junctions before heading straight onto Federal Highway (KL-bound).
  • Motorists from Persiaran Bestari/Lebuh Keluli heading towards Federal Highway (Klang-bound) will be diverted onto Lorong Keluli 1a, Lorong Keluli 1c, U-turn at the traffic lights junctions, head straight onto Federal Highway (KL-bound), U-turn at Persiaran Kayangan before heading onto Federal Highway (Klang-bound).
  • Motorists from Persiaran Bestari/Lebuh Keluli heading towards Federal Highway 2/ Grand Sepadu Highway (Klang-bound), will be diverted onto Lorong Keluli 1a, Lorong Keluli 1c, U-turn at the traffic lights junctions, head straight onto Federal Highway (KL-bound), U-turn at Persiaran Kayangan and head straight onto Federal Highway (Klang-bound) before turning right onto Federal Highway 2 towards Grand Sepadu Highway.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Closure B: The slip road on Lebuh Keluli, (Persiaran Bestari-Bound) 

During the closure, motorists will be diverted as indicated on the map below:

  • Motorists from Grand Sepadu Highway heading towards Persiaran Bestari will be diverted onto Federal Highway (KL-bound), Persiaran Kayangan, Persiaran Permai and turn right onto Persiaran Bestari.
  • Motorists from Grand Sepadu Highway heading towards Lengkuk Keluli 1 will be diverted onto Federal Highway (KL-bound), Persiaran Kayangan, Persiaran Permai, turn left onto Lebuh Keluli, U-turn at the traffic lights junction opposite ASAC Logistics Sdn Bhd and turn left onto Lengkuk Keluli 1.
  • Motorists from Grand Sepadu Highway heading towards Lebuh Keluli, will be diverted onto Federal Highway (KL-bound), Persiaran Kayangan, Persiaran Permai and turn left onto Lebuh Keluli.

Closure C: The rightmost lane on Federal Highway 2 (Opposite Petron Bandar Baru Klang, Grand Sepadu Highway-Bound)

During the closure, two (2) lanes will be made available to motorists on Federal Highway 2 heading towards Grand Sepadu Highway as indicated on the map below:

 

Closure D: The middle-lane on Federal Highway 2 (Klang-bound)

During the closure, two (2) lanes will be made available to motorists from Grand Sepadu Highway heading towards Federal Highway as indicated on the map below:

 

 

Closure E: The rightmost lane on Federal Highway 2 (Klang-bound)

During the closure, two (2) lanes will be made available to motorists from Grand Sepadu Highway heading towards Federal Highway as indicated on the map below:

The diversions are implemented following the approval from the Shah Alam Municipal Council (MBSA). Throughout the Conditional Movement Control Order (MCO) period, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction works.
