Media Release: Continuation of road closure on Jalan Langat (between Persiaran Batu Nilam 1 and Lebuh Batu Nilam junctions, Klang-bound) and traffic diversions to facilitate U-Girder launching works and LRT3 project-related works from 4 October 2021 to 31 December 2021

SHAH ALAM, 1 OCTOBER 2021: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the main contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be a continuation of road closure on Jalan Langat (between Persiaran Batu Nilam 1 and Lebuh Batu Nilam junctions, Klang-bound) and traffic diversions to facilitate U-Girder launching works and LRT3 project-related works from 4 October 2021 to 31 December 2021, (Monday to Sunday) from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

During the closure, motorists on Jalan Langat heading towards Klang will be diverted onto Persiaran Batu Nilam 1, Persiaran Batu Nilam and head straight onto Lebuh Batu Nilam before heading back towards Jalan Langat (Klang-bound).

Motorists on Persiaran Batu Nilam 1 heading towards Klang will have to make a U-turn at the traffic light junction and head straight before turning right onto Persiaran Batu Nilam, Lebuh Batu Nilam and head straight to Jalan Langat as indicated on the map below:

The diversions are implemented following the approval from the Klang Municipal Council (MPK). Throughout the National Recovery Plan (NRP) Phase 3 period, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction activities.
