Media Release: Lane closures and traffic diversions on the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) (from KM14.9 to KM16.2) opposite Ara Damansara Winchester, Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh-bound) to facilitate U-Girder launching and LRT3 project-related works from 20 October 2021 to 15 November 2021

 

 SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 18 OCTOBER 2021: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be lane closures and traffic diversions on the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) (from KM14.9 to KM16.2) opposite Ara Damansara Winchester, Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh-bound) to facilitate U-Girder launching and LRT3 project-related works from 20 October 2021 to 15 November 2021 (Monday to Sunday), 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

During the closures, motorists will be diverted as below:

  • Motorists from Shah Alam / Subang heading towards Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh will be diverted to the opposite side of NKVE Highway (Shah Alam / Subang-bound) via contra-flow traffic then back to NKVE Highway (Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh-bound). Four (4) lanes will be made available for motorists from Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh heading towards Shah Alam / Subang

 

  • Motorists from Shah Alam / Subang heading towards Petronas and Shell Station will be diverted by making a left turn to the slip road opposite Petronas Station and back to NKVE Highway (Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh-bound).

 

The diversions are implemented following the approval from Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia (LLM) and Projek Lebuhraya Usahasama Berhad (PLUS). Throughout the National Recovery Plan (NRP) Phase 3, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction activities.
