SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 7 December 2021: Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd (formerly known as MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK)), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be a continuation of road closure and traffic diversions on Jalan Johan Setia 1, Klang (at the Jalan Johan Setia 1 and Jalan Langat intersection, Jalan Telekom and Jalan Langat-bound) to facilitate LRT3 project-related works from 10 December 2021 to 7 January 2022 (24 hours daily).

During the closure, motorists will be diverted as indicated below:

  • Motorists from Jalan Johan Setia 1 heading towards Jalan Langat will be diverted to Lebuh Pending 1 and KESAS (Pulau Indah-bound) before heading onto Jalan Langat via the Pandamaran Interchange.
  • Motorists from Jalan Langat heading towards Jalan Johan Setia 1 will be required to take Jalan Johan Setia and Jalan Telekom, before heading onto Jalan Johan Setia 1.

The diversions are implemented following the approval from IPD Klang Selatan (PDRM), Klang Public Works Department (JKR Klang) and Klang Municipal Council (MPK). Throughout the National Recovery Plan (NRP) Phase 4 period, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction activities.
