Media Release: Continuation of lane closure on KM8.9 to KM9.2 of Federal Highway (near Shell Petrol Station, KL-bound) and traffic diversion to facilitate I-beam and U-girder launching works for the LRT3 project from 1 January 2022 to 31 March 2022

SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 29 DECEMBER 2021: Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd (formerly known as MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK)), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be continuation of lane closure on KM8.9 to KM9.2 of Federal Highway (near Shell Petrol Station, KL-bound) and traffic diversion to facilitate I-beam and U-girder launching works for the LRT3 project from 1 January 2022 to 31 March 2022, (Monday to Sunday) from 11.00 p.m. to 5.00 a.m.

During the closure, three (3) lanes will be made available to motorists heading towards Kuala Lumpur as shown on the map below:

The diversion is implemented following the approval from Petaling Public Works Department (JKR Petaling). Throughout the National Recovery Plan (NRP) Phase 4 period, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction activities.
