KUALA LUMPUR – 29 MARCH 2022 : Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd (formerly known as MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be intermittent lane closures and traffic diversions at the slip road at Lebuh Bandar Utama (near Ming Tien, Damansara-bound) and parts of the PLUS highway (Damansara and Klang-bound) to facilitate LRT3 project-related works from 1 April 2022 to 31 August 2022 (Monday to Saturday),10.00 p.m. to 5.00 a.m.  in the following stages:

Stage 1: The leftmost lane on the PLUS highway (Klang-bound) before and after the slip road to Lebuh Bandar Utama heading to BU11 & BU12 and the slip road to Lebuh Bandar Utama heading to BU11 and BU12 will be closed.

During the closure, motorists heading to Jalan Tropicana Selatan 1 will be diverted to the immediate right lane and motorists heading to BU1 or BU11/ BU12 will need to enter Jalan Tropicana Selatan 1 as indicated on the map below:

Stage 2:

  • The emergency and slow lanes on PLUS highway (Klang-bound) before the slip road to Lebuh Bandar Utama heading to BU11 and BU12 will be closed. Motorists heading to BU1 or BU11/ BU12 will be diverted to the immediate right lane before heading to the slip road to Lebuh Bandar Utama

 

  • The emergency, slow and fast lanes on PLUS highway (Klang-bound) after the slip road to Lebuh Bandar Utama heading to BU11 and BU12 and fast lane (Damansara-bound) will be closed. Motorists heading towards Klang will be diverted via contra flow.

 

  • The fast and middle lanes on PLUS highway (Damansara-bound) will be closed. Motorists heading towards Damansara will be diverted to the immediate left lane as indicated by the red arrow shown on the map below:

Stage 3:

  • The right lane at the Lebuh Bandar Utama slip road and Jalan Bridge 21/64 (near Ming Tien, Damansara-bound) will be closed. Motorists heading to Jalan Bridge 21/64 and Damansara will be diverted to Jalan Mawar and Jalan Masjid.

 

  • The emergency and slow lanes on PLUS highway (Damansara-bound) will be closed. Motorists heading towards Damansara will be diverted to the immediate right lane as indicated on the map below:

Stage 4:

  • The right lane at the slip road Lebuh Bandar Utama (near Ming Tien, Damansara-bound) as well as the slow, middle and fast lanes on PLUS highway (Damansara-bound) will be closed. Motorists heading to Damansara will be diverted via contraflow on PLUS highway.

 

  • The fast and middle lanes on PLUS highway (Klang-bound) will also be closed. Motorists heading towards Klang will be diverted to the immediate left lane as indicated on the map below:

Stage 5:

  • The middle and fast lanes on PLUS highway (Damansara-bound) will be closed. Motorists heading to Damansara will be diverted to the immediate left lane.

 

  • The fast, middle and part of the slow lanes on PLUS highway (Klang-bound) will be closed. Motorists heading towards Klang will be diverted to the immediate slow lane as indicated on the diversion map below:

The diversions are implemented following the approval from Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ) and Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia (LLM). Throughout the National Recovery Plan (NRP) Phase 4 period, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction activities.
