Media Release: Road closure and traffic diversions on Jalan Langat (from Jalan Mahogani traffic light junction to Persiaran Kasuarina flyover, Banting-bound) to facilitate LRT3 project-related works from 21 December 2022 to 31 December 2022

KUALA LUMPUR – 18 DECEMBER 2022: Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd (formerly known as MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be road closure and traffic diversions on Jalan Langat (from Jalan Mahogani traffic light junction to Persiaran Kasuarina flyover, Banting-bound) to facilitate LRT3 project-related works from 21 December 2022 to 31 December 2022, (Monday to Sunday) from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

During the closure, motorists will be diverted as indicated on the map below:

• Motorists from Klang heading towards Banting will be diverted onto Jalan Mahogani, Jalan Mahogani 1, Jalan Salam and head straight towards Jalan Langat (Banting-bound).
• Motorists from Jalan Mahogani heading towards Banting will be diverted onto Persiaran Batu Nilam 1, Persiaran Batu Nilam 16, Persiaran Kasuarina, Jalan Salam and head straight towards Jalan Langat (Banting-bound).
• Motorists from Persiaran Batu Nilam 1 heading towards Banting will be diverted will be diverted onto Jalan Mahogani, Jalan Mahogani 1, Jalan Salam and head straight towards Jalan Langat (Banting-bound).

The diversions are implemented following the approval from the Klang Public Works Department (JKR Klang).
