Reason   To facilitate preliminary works (road line marking, cofferdam works, realignment of concrete barriers, mobilisation of construction machineries and unloading of construction materials) at Jalan Tropicana Selatan 1 for the LRT3 project.

 

SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 27 September 2018: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the Project Delivery Partner (PDP) of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be a temporary two (2) lane closure at Jalan Tropicana Selatan 1 (opposite Merchant Square) to facilitate preliminary works for the LRT3 project starting from 28 September to 29 October 2018.

During the temporary closure which will be from 10.00 pm to 6.00 am the next day, motorists travelling on Jalan Tropicana Selatan 1 (opposite Merchant Square) will be diverted to the opposite lane as indicated in GREEN arrows in the map below:

 

Traffic will be controlled by flagmen using “Contra Flow” method of traffic flow and directional signages will also be displayed during the closure. The road closure will ONLY take place during the time period stated above.
