TRAFFIC ANNOUNCEMENT
LANE CLOSURE AND TRAFFIC DIVERSION ON JALAN LANGAT, KLANG
EXTENSION OF HOURS FROM 5 APRIL 2019 TO 6 APRIL 2019
SHAH ALAM, 4 APRIL 2019: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project and the work package contractor (WPC) Pembinaan Jaya Zira Bhd would like to inform the public that we are extending the hours of the lane closure and traffic diversion in front of Premiere Hotel and BBT Tower, Jalan Langat, Klang to facilitate utilities relocation works for the LRT3 project.
Originally, the lane closure and traffic diversion were supposed to start from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. from 28 February 2019 until 7 April 2019. However, the hours have now been extended from 5 April 2019 to 6 April 2019. Our WPC will work continuously from 10:00 p.m. (Friday, 5 April 2019) until 4:00 p.m (Saturday, 6 April 2019).
Our WPC discovered a hard ground unexpectedly during excavation works on 2 April 2019. Hence, more time is required to excavate and lay the water pipe. The new schedule still falls within the approved hours of Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR).
The diversion and closure are as shown on the map below:
