Traffic Announcement: Lane Closure and Traffic Diversion on Jalan Langat, Klang Extension of Hours on 27 April 2019

SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 25 April 2019: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project wishes to inform the public that its work package contractor (WPC) Pembinaan Jaya Zira Bhd is extending the hours of the lane closure and traffic diversion in front of Vonza Sdn Bhd, Jalan Langat, Klang to facilitate utilities relocation works for the LRT3 project.

Originally, the lane closure and traffic diversion were supposed to start from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. from 26 April 2019 until 27 April 2019. However, the hours have now been extended on 27 April 2019. Our WPC will work continuously from 10:00 p.m. (Friday, 26 April 2019) until 4:00 p.m (Saturday, 27 April 2019).

Our WPC discovered a hard ground unexpectedly during excavation works on 24 April 2019. Hence, more time is required to excavate and lay the water pipe. The new schedule still falls within the approved hours of Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR).

During the temporary lane closure which has been approved by Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR), motorists on Jalan Langat heading towards Klang are reminded to exercise caution and adhere to advance warning signs as indicated by the map below:
