SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 25 June 2019: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be total road closures and traffic diversions on Jalan Raja Hassan and Jalan Melayu, Klang to facilitate drainage works, utilities relocation, piling, pile cap, pier construction, guideway launching works and Station 20 construction works for the LRT3 project from 28 June 2019 to 30 June 2021, Monday to Sunday, 24 hours daily.
During the closures, motorists will be diverted as indicated on the map below. Motorists diverted to Jalan Nangka from Jalan Raja Hassan will now be able to turn left onto Jalan Pasar via the implementation of a contraflow system. One of the lanes on Jalan Pasar will be utilised for the implementation of a contraflow system for motorists heading towards Jalan Pos Baru. This improved traffic management scheme is implemented upon further study being carried out to ease traffic flow around the area and taking into account the feedback received from the surrounding stakeholders.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused to the public and greatly appreciate your kind understanding and patience as we build LRT3 for the betterment of the future, and in improving Klang Valley’s public transport system.
