Traffic Announcement: Lane Closures and Traffic Diversions on Jalan Langat and Persiaran Kasuarina from 2 December 2019 to 11 December 2019

SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 29 November 2019: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the main contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be lane closures and traffic diversions to facilitate pier cap launching works from 2 December to 11 December 2019, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. at the locations below:

 Location 1 : Jalan Langat (Klang-bound, opposite Klinik Kesihatan Bandar Botanik) will be fully closed.

During the temporary closure, motorists on Jalan Langat heading towards Klang will be diverted into Persiaran Botanik and Persiaran Batu Nilam 2 before heading back to Jalan Langat (Klang-bound).

Location 2 : Rightmost lane of Jalan Langat (KESAS/Banting-bound) will be closed.

Two lanes on Jalan Langat will be made available to motorists heading towards KESAS or Banting during the closure.

Location 3 : Leftmost lane of Persiaran Kasuarina flyover (Persiaran Botanik-bound) will be closed.

During the temporary closure, one lane will be made available to motorists heading towards Persiaran Botanik.

During the closures, motorists will be diverted as indicated on the map below:

The diversions are implemented following the approval from the Klang Municipal Council (MPK) and the Malaysian Public Works Department (JKR).
