SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 3 December 2019: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the main contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be lane closures and traffic diversions to facilitate water pipe laying works on Jalan Salam, Bandar Botanic, Klang from 5 December 2019 to 28 December 2019, starting from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. daily.

 

The closures will be done in stages and they are as follows:

Closure A: Jalan Salam (from after Shell Petrol Station to Jalan Kasuarina 1 junction) will be closed from 5 December to 13 December 2019

Motorists are required to take Jalan Salam towards Persiaran Mahogani and will be required to turn right onto Jalan Kasuarina 1 to reach Jalan Kasuarina 5, Jalan Kasuarina 3 and Jalan Kasuarina 2. A temporary access (in front of Shell Petrol Station) will be provided for motorists heading towards Jalan Langat from Shell Petrol Station during the closure. The diversions are as shown on the map below:

 

Closure B: Jalan Salam (from Jalan Mahogani 1 junction to before Shell Petrol Station) will be closed from 14 December to 28 December 2019

Motorists from Persiaran Mahogani heading towards Jalan Langat will be diverted to Jalan Mahogani 1, before being required to turn left onto Jalan Mahogani to head back onto Jalan Langat. A temporary access (in front of Shell Petrol Station) will be provided for motorists heading towards Shell Petrol Station and Jalan Kasuarina 1 from Jalan Langat. The diversions are as shown on the map below:

 

 

Motorists are advised to follow the traffic signage and flagmen during the road closures.
