Traffic Announcement: Continuation of Road Closures and Traffic Diversions on Persiaran Kerjaya, Shah Alam from 13 January 2020 to 31 December 2020

SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 10 January 2020: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be a continuation of road closures and traffic diversions on Persiaran Kerjaya (both Shah Alam and Subang/Kuala Lumpur-bound to facilitate utilities relocation, pier construction, guideway launching and station works for the LRT3 project from 13 January 2020 to 31 December 2020 (Monday to Sunday).

The closures and traffic diversions are as shown on the map below:

Closure A

The road closures will occur from the traffic light junction on Persiaran Kerjaya (Subang/Kuala Lumpur-bound) in front of Naza College until Shell for 24 hours. Motorists heading towards Subang/Kuala Lumpur will be diverted to Jalan Kontraktor U1/14, Jalan Majistret U1/26 and Jalan Hakim U1/24. For heavy vehicles, drivers may use the alternative route via Federal Highway.

Closure B

Closures will be implemented on Persiaran Kerjaya (Shah Alam-bound) after Shell Petrol Station from 11.00 p.m. to 5.00 a.m. Motorists heading towards Shah Alam will be diverted to Jalan Hakim U1/24, Jalan Majistret U1/26, and Jalan Kontraktor U1/14. During the closure, motorists from Subang/KL heading to Persiaran Kerjaya can make a U-turn at the junction near Shell Petrol Station.

Motorists are advised to follow the traffic signage and flagmen during the road closures.
