Traffic Announcement: Continuation of 24-hour Road Closure and Traffic Diversions on Persiaran Bukit Raja, Klang from 6 August 2020 to 30 November 2020

SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 6^th August 2020: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the main contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform the public that there will be a continuation of road closure and traffic diversions along Persiaran Bukit Raja, Klang (Aeon Bukit Raja-bound and Grand Sepadu Highway-bound).

The stages of 24-hour road closure will continue from 6 August 2020 to 30 November 2020, Monday to Sunday to facilitate U-Trough launching and station works for the LRT3 project.

The closure and diversions will be carried out at the locations listed below:

Closure A (Stage 1): A section of Persiaran Bukit Raja, from the junctions of Persiaran Bukit Raja 1 to Persiaran Bukit Raja 2 will be fully closed on both bounds. During the closure, motorists heading towards Grand Sepadu Highway or Persiaran Bukit Raja 2 from Persiaran Bukit Raja will be diverted onto Persiaran Bukit Raja 1 before heading back to the Grand Sepadu Highway and Persiaran Bukit Raja 2.

Closure B (Stage 2): A section of Persiaran Bukit Raja, from the junction of Persiaran Bukit Raja 2 to the residential area in front of the proposed future development will be closed on both bounds. During the closure, motorists heading towards AEON Bukit Raja from Grand Sepadu Highway will be diverted onto Persiaran Rajawali and then towards Grand Sepadu Highway before heading back to Persiaran Bukit Raja.

Closure C (Stage 3): A section of Persiaran Bukit Raja, from the junction of Persiaran Bukit Raja 1 to the residential area in front of the proposed future development will be closed on both bounds. During the closure, motorists heading towards AEON Bukit Raja will be diverted onto Persiaran Rajawali, Jalan Undan Putih and Persiaran Bukit Raja 1 before heading back to Persiaran Bukit Raja. Motorists heading towards Grand Sepadu Highway from Persiaran Bukit Raja will be diverted onto Persiaran Bukit Raja 1, Jalan Undan Putih, Persiaran Rajawali and back to Persiaran Bukit Raja to head towards Grand Sepadu Highway.

Closure D (Stage 4): A section of Persiaran Bukit Raja, from the junctions of Lorong Tiara 3 to Persiaran Rajawali (Aeon Bukit Raja-bound) will be closed. During the closure, motorists from Grand Sepadu Highway heading towards AEON Bukit Raja will be diverted onto Persiaran Rajawali, Jalan Undan Putih and into Persiaran Bukit Raja 1 before heading back to Persiaran Bukit Raja to drive towards AEON Bukit Raja.

Closure E (Stage 5): A section of Persiaran Bukit Raja, from the junction of Persiaran Rajawali to just before Jalan Serindit 17 will be closed on both bounds. During the closure, motorists from Grand Sepadu Highway heading towards AEON Bukit Raja will be diverted onto Jalan Serindit 17, Jalan Mahkota 2, Jalan Serindit 14 and Persiaran Rajawali before heading back to Persiaran Bukit Raja to head towards AEON Bukit Raja. Motorists from AEON Bukit Raja heading towards Grand Sepadu Highway will be diverted onto Persiaran Rajawali, Jalan Serindit 14, Jalan Mahkota 2 and Jalan Serindit 17 before heading back to Persiaran Bukit Raja to drive towards Grand Sepadu Highway.

Closure F (Stage 6): A section of Persiaran Bukit Raja, from the junction of Jalan Serindit 17 to the junction of Grand Sepadu Highway will be closed on both bounds. During the closure, motorists from AEON Bukit Raja heading towards Dahlia Apartment will be diverted via contra-flow traffic on the opposite side of Persiaran Bukit Raja.

Closure A, B, C, D, E and F will be implemented in stages. Only one stage will be closed at any one time.

The diversions are implemented following the approval from the Klang Municipal Council (MPK). We apologise for any inconvenience caused to the public.

Throughout the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) period, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction works.
