SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 10 September 2020: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the main contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform the public that there will be intermittent road closures and traffic diversions on Jalan Meru, Klang (Klang Town-bound and Setia Alam-bound) to facilitate U-trough launching and LRT3 project-related works from 11 September 2020 to 30 November 2021 Monday to Sunday, 10:00p.m to 5:00a.m, intermittently.

During the closures, motorists heading towards Klang Town will be diverted into Leboh Merpati from the junction of Jalan Kelicap 49 and back on to Jalan Meru at the junction of Jalan Murai. Motorists heading towards Setia Alam will be diverted into the service road off-Jalan Meru from the junction of Jalan Pulau Pinang 1 and back on to Jalan Meru at the junction of Jalan Pulau Pinang 2 as indicated on the map below:

 

The diversions are implemented following the approval from the Public Works Department Klang (JKR Klang) and Klang Municipal Council (MPK).

Throughout the Conditional Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) period, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction works activities.
