SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 17 October 2020: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the main contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be a road closure and traffic diversions on Jalan Salam, Bandar Botanik, Klang (opposite Gamuda Land, Banting / KESAS-bound) to facilitate ‘U-trough’ launching and LRT3 project-related works from 19 October 2020 to 21 October  2020, 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

During the closure, motorists will be diverted as indicated below:

  • Motorists from Jalan Salam heading towards “The Turf” will be diverted to Jalan Kasuarina 8 and onwards to Jalan Kasuarina 13.
  • Motorists from Jalan Salam heading towards Honda will be diverted to Kasuarina 8, 9, 10, 11 and Persiaran Mahogani to make a U-turn back towards Honda on Jalan Kasuarina 13.

 

The diversions are implemented following the approval from the Klang Public Works Department (JKR Klang) and Klang Municipal Council (MPK). Throughout the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) period, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction activities.
