Traffic Announcement: Lane Closures and Traffic Diversions on Persiaran Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, Klang from 22 January 2021 to 30 November 2021

SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 19 JANUARY 2021: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the main contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be continuation of intermittent lane closures and traffic diversions on Persiaran Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (from Bulatan Simpang Lima until Jalan Batu Unjur, Banting and Klang Town-bound) to facilitate ‘U-Girder’ launching, station and LRT3 project-related works from 22 January 2021 to 30 November 2021, (Monday to Sunday), 11:00 p.m to 5:00 a.m.

During the intermittent closures, the rightmost lanes of both bounds of Persiaran Tengku Ampuan Rahimah will be closed and motorists will be diverted to the immediate left lane as indicated in the map below:

The diversions are implemented following the approval from the Klang Public Works Department (JKR Klang) and Klang Municipal Council (MPK). Throughout the Movement Control Order (MCO) period, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction activities. We apologise for any inconvenience caused to the public.
