SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 25 JANUARY 2021: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be a road closure and traffic diversion on the Federal Highway exit to Persiaran Sultan (near the PKNS Open Car Park, Pusat Bandar Shah Alam-bound) to facilitate pier cap launching works from 29 January 2021 to 31 January 2021 (Friday to Sunday), from 11.00 p.m. to 5.00 a.m.

During the closure, motorists heading towards Pusat Bandar Shah Alam from Federal Highway (KL-bound) will be diverted to the next exit (E13) of Lebuhraya Kemuning Shah Alam (LKSA) and will be required to make a U-turn at Bulatan Selangor (via fourth exit) to head towards Pusat Bandar Shah Alam via Persiaran Sultan.

The closure and traffic diversion are as shown in the map below:

 

The diversions are implemented following the approval from Shah Alam City Council (MBSA). Throughout the Movement Control Order (MCO) period, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction activities.
