SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 1 APRIL 2021: MRCB George Kent, the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be road closures and traffic diversions on Persiaran Kerjaya from EON Berhad to the junction after Jalan Perintis U1/52 (both Shah Alam and Kuala Lumpur /Subang-bound) to facilitate ‘U-Girder’ launching and LRT3 project-related works from 3 April 2021 to 12 April 2021 (Monday to Sunday), 11:00 p.m. to 5.00 a.m.

During the closures, motorists will be diverted as below:

  • Motorists from Shah Alam heading towards KL / Subang will be diverted onto Jalan Pendaftar U1/54, Jalan Pengaturcara U1/51 and then onto Persiaran Kerjaya (Subang-bound).
  • Motorists from Jalan Kerjaya heading towards Persiaran Kerjaya will be diverted by making a U-turn opposite Temasya Anggun, then back to Jalan Kerjaya and then Persiaran Kerjaya near Mercedes.
  • Motorists from Jalan Rektor U1/7 heading towards Persiaran Kerjaya will be diverted to the small roundabout nearby DRB-Hicom, then back to Jalan Usahawan U1/8 and Jalan Rektor U1/7, followed by Jalan Presiden U1/1.
  • Motorists from KL/ Subang heading towards Shah Alam will be diverted to Jalan Pengaturcara U1/51, Jalan Askar U1/56 and Jalan Pengaturcara, then back onto Persiaran Kerjaya (Shah Alam-bound).

The road closures and traffic diversions are as shown on the map below:

The diversions are implemented following the approval from Jabatan Kerja Raya Daerah Petaling (JKR Petaling). Throughout the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) period, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction activities.
