SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 26 April 2021: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be road closure and traffic diversions on Persiaran Permai (between Jalan Plumbum 7/98 and Jalan Plumbum 7/101 junctions, Persiaran Bestari and UiTM-bound) to facilitate pier cap launching works for the LRT3 project from 27 April 2021 to 30 April 2021 (Monday to Sunday), from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

During the closures, motorists will be diverted as indicated on the map below:

  • Motorists from UiTM and Jalan Plumbum 7/102 heading towards Persiaran Bestari will be diverted onto Jalan Plumbum 7/98, Jalan Plumbum 7/99, Jalan Plumbum 7/95, and turn right onto Persiaran Permai, and head straight to Persiaran Bestari.
  • Motorists from UiTM and Jalan Plumbum 7/102 heading towards Jalan Plumbum 7/101 will be diverted onto Jalan Plumbum 7/98, Jalan Plumbum 7/99, Jalan Plumbum 7/95, and turn left onto Persiaran Permai and turn right towards Jalan Plumbum 7/101.
  • Motorists from Persiaran Bestari heading towards UiTM will be diverted onto Jalan Plumbum 7/95, Jalan Plumbum 7/99, Jalan Plumbum 7/98, and turn left onto Persiaran Permai and head straight to UiTM.
  • Motorists from Jalan Plumbum 7/101 heading towards UiTM will be diverted onto Jalan Plumbum 7/95, Jalan Plumbum 7/99, Jalan Plumbum 7/98, and turn left onto Persiaran Permai and head straight to UiTM.

The diversions are implemented following the approval from the Shah Alam Municipal Council (MBSA). Throughout the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) period, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction works.
