SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 22 MAY 2021: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be road closures and traffic diversions on Lebuh Bandar Utama near the “Kuarters Pendidikan” to facilitate ‘U-Girder’ launching works from 25 May 2021 to 30 June 2021 from 12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.

During the closure, motorists will be diverted as follows:

  • Lebuh Bandar Utama (from BU1) heading towards BU11/12 will be diverted to PLUS Highway (Damansara Bound) as indicated by the green arrow. Then motorists will need to make a ‘U’ turn to PLUS Highway (Klang Bound) and head towards Jalan Tropicana Selatan 1 and Persiaran Tropicana as indicated by the purple arrow.


  • PLUS Highway (Klang Bound) heading towards BU11/12 will need to proceed to Jalan Tropicana Selatan 1 and Persiaran Tropicana as indicated by the purple arrow.


  • BU11/12 heading towards PLUS Highway (Damansara-bound) will be diverted to Persiaran Tropicana and Jalan Tropicana Selatan 1 as indicated by the red arrow:

















The diversions are implemented following the approval from the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ). Throughout the Movement Control Order (MCO) period, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction activities.
