SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 23 JULY 2021: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be a road closure and traffic diversion on the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) at Ramp A near the Damansara Interchange exit (Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh-bound) to facilitate U-Girder launching and LRT3 project-related works from 25 July 2021 to 27 July 2021, 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. in the following stages:

During the closures, motorists will be diverted as below:

  • Motorists from Kuala Lumpur / Shah Alam heading towards Damansara will need to exit at Kota Damansara Toll (Exit 107), head straight to Persiaran Kenanga and then make a U-turn under the flyover.
  • After the U-turn, motorists will head back to the Kota Damansara toll, then to the NKVE (Kuala Lumpur / Shah Alam bound) and take the exit at Damansara Toll (Exit 106) to head to Damansara.

The diversions are implemented following the approval from Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia (LLM) and Projek Lebuhraya Usahasama Berhad (PLUS). Throughout the National Recovery Plan (NRP) Phase 1, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction activities.
