SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 12 AUGUST 2021: MRCB George Kent, the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be road closures and traffic diversions on Persiaran Kerjaya from EON Berhad to the Caltex junction (both Shah Alam and Kuala Lumpur / Subang-bound) to facilitate ‘U-Girder’ launching and LRT3 project-related works from 15 August 2021 to 17 August 2021 (Sunday to Tuesday), 11:00 p.m. to 5.00 a.m.

During the closures, motorists will be diverted as below:

  • Motorists from Kuala Lumpur / Subang heading towards Shah Alam will be diverted onto Jalan Presiden U1/1, Jalan Eksekutif U1/5, Jalan Usahawan U1/8 and then onto Persiaran Kerjaya (Shah Alam-bound).
  • Motorists from Shah Alam heading towards Kuala Lumpur / Subang will be diverted onto Jalan Usahawan U1/8, Jalan Eksekutif U1/5, Jalan Presiden U1/1 and then back to Persiaran Kerjaya (Kuala Lumpur / Subang-bound).
  • Motorists from Jalan Pengaturcara U1/51 heading towards Persiaran Kerjaya heading towards Kuala Lumpur / Subang will need to make a U-Turn to Jalan Perpustakawan U1/62, Jalan Doktor U1/67 and then back to Persiaran Kerjaya (Kuala Lumpur / Subang-bound).

The road closures and traffic diversions are as shown on the map below:

The diversions are implemented following the approval from Jabatan Kerja Raya Daerah Petaling (JKR Petaling). Throughout the National Recovery Plan (NRP) Phase 1, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction activities.
