Media Release: Road closure and traffic diversion on Jalan Johan Setia, Klang (adjacent to the Johan Setia traffic light junction, Jalan Kebun-bound) to facilitate pier cap launching and LRT3 project-related works from 30 August 2021 to 31 August 2021

SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 26 August 2021: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the main contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be a road closure and traffic diversion on Jalan Johan Setia, Klang (adjacent to the Johan Setia traffic light junction, Jalan Kebun-bound) to facilitate pier cap launching and LRT3 project-related works from 30 August 2021 to 31 August 2021, 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

During the closure, motorists from Klang / Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS) heading towards Jalan Johan Setia (Jalan Kebun-bound) will be required to take Jalan Johan Setia 1 and Jalan Telekom before heading on to Jalan Johan Setia.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The diversion is implemented following the approval from IPD Klang Utara (PDRM), Klang Public Works Department (JKR Klang) and Klang Municipal Council (MPK). Throughout the National Recovery Plan (NRP) Phase 1 period, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction activities.
