SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 30 September 2021: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the main contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be an intermittent slow lane closure at KM18.5 to KM19.1 (East bound) of the Shah Alam Expressway – SAE (KESAS) to facilitate Segmental Box Girder (SBG) launching and LRT3 project-related works from 4 October 2021 to 5 October 2021, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
During the intermittent closure, two (2) lanes are made available to motorists from Pulau Indah heading towards Kuala Lumpur on the Shah Alam Expressway – SAE (KESAS).
Details of the lane closure and traffic diversion management scheme are as indicated on the map below:
The diversions are implemented following the approval from IPD Klang Selatan (PDRM), the Klang Public Works Department (JKR Klang), Klang Municipal Council (MPK), Shah Alam Expressway – SAE (KESAS) and Malaysian Highway Authority (MHA).
Throughout the National Recovery Plan (NRP) Phase 2 period, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction activities. Motorists are advised to drive carefully and follow the traffic signages during the closure. We apologise for any inconvenience caused to the SAE – (KESAS) users.
