SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 1 October 2021: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the main contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be intermittent closures at the Pandamaran Interchange (Ramp A) from Jalan Langat (Kuala Lumpur bound) and from KM18.5 to KM19.1 (East bound) of the Shah Alam Expressway – SAE (KESAS) to facilitate Segmental Box Girder (SBG) launching and LRT3 project-related works from 4 October 2021 to 22 October 2021 in the following stages:
Stage 1: Fast lane closure at the Pandamaran Interchange (Ramp A) from Jalan Langat (Kuala Lumpur bound), 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., followed by a slow lane closure from KM18.5 to KM19.1 of SAE (East bound), 1:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. from 4 October 2021 to 5 October 2021.
During the closure, the traffic management scheme will be as shown in the map below.
Stage 2: Full closure of Ramp A from Jalan Langat (Kuala Lumpur bound), 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. followed by a slow lane closure from KM18.5 to KM19.1 of SAE (East bound), 1:00 a.m. to 5.00 a.m. from 6 October 2021 to 9 October 2021.
During the closure, the traffic management scheme will be as shown in the map below.
Stage 3: Full closure of Ramp A (Kuala Lumpur bound), 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. followed by slow and middle lane closures from KM18.5 to KM19.1 of SAE (East bound), 1:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. from 10 October 2021 to 14 October 2021.
During the closure, the traffic management scheme will be as indicated in the map below.
Stage 4: Full closure of Ramp A (Kuala Lumpur bound), 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. followed by full closure from KM18.5 to KM19.1 of SAE (East bound), 1:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. from 15 October 2021 to 22 October 2021.
During the closure, the traffic management scheme will be as indicated in the map below.
The diversions are implemented following the approval from IPD Klang Selatan (PDRM), the Klang Public Works Department (JKR Klang), Klang Municipal Council (MPK), Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS) and Malaysian Highway Authority (MHA).
Throughout the National Recovery Plan (NRP) Phase 2 period, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction activities. Motorists are advised to drive carefully and follow the traffic signages during the closure. We apologise for any inconvenience caused to the SAE (KESAS) users.
