Media Release: Road closures and traffic diversions on Jalan Langat, Klang (adjacent to Klinik Kesihatan Bandar Botanic, both bounds) and Persiaran Kasuarina (from each end of the roundabouts, both bounds) to facilitate ‘U-trough’ launching and LRT3 project-related works from 23 October 2021 to 31 October 2021

 SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 21 October 2021: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the main contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be road closures and traffic diversions on Jalan Langat, Klang (adjacent to Klinik Kesihatan Bandar Botanic, both bounds) and Persiaran Kasuarina (from each end of the roundabouts, both bounds) to facilitate ‘U-trough’ launching and LRT3 project-related works from 23 October 2021 to 31 October 2021, 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

During the closure, motorists will be diverted as indicated below:

• Motorists from Banting/KESAS heading towards Klang via Jalan Langat will be diverted to Persiaran Botanik, Jalan Batu Nilam 16, and Persiaran Batu Nilam 1 before heading back to Jalan Langat.
• Motorists from Klang heading towards Banting/KESAS via Jalan Langat will be diverted to Jalan Salam before heading back to Jalan Langat.
• Motorists from Persiaran Mahogani heading towards Persiaran Botanik via Persiaran Kasuarina will be diverted to Jalan Mahogani, Persiaran Batu Nilam 1 and Jalan Batu Nilam 16 before heading back to Persiaran Botanik.
• Motorists from Persiaran Botanik heading towards Persiaran Mahogani via Persiaran Kasuarina will be diverted to Jalan Baru Nilam 16, Persiaran Batu Nilam 1 and Jalan Mahogani before heading back to Persiaran Mahogani.

The diversions are implemented following the approval from IPD Klang Selatan (PDRM), Klang Public Works Department (JKR Klang) and Klang Municipal Council (MPK). Throughout the National Recovery Plan (NRP) Phase 3 period, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction activities.
