SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 11 NOVEMBER 2021: Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd (formerly known as MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be lane closures and traffic diversions on the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) near KM 14.1 (Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh-bound & Shah Alam / Subang-Bound) to facilitate Segmental Box Girder (SBG) launching and LRT3 project-related works from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. in the following stages:
Stage 1: The leftmost lane and slow lane (Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh-bound) will be closed from 18 November 2021 to 25 December 2021.
During the closure, two (2) lanes will be made available to motorists on NKVE Highway heading towards Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh as indicated on the map below:
Stage 2: The rightmost lane and middle lane (Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh-bound) will be closed from 26 December 2021 to 15 January 2022.
During the closure, two (2) lanes will be made available to motorists on NKVE Highway heading towards Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh as indicated on the map below:
Stage 3: The rightmost lane and the middle lane on both bounds will be closed from 16 January 2022 to 31 January 2022.
During the closure, two (2) lanes will be made available to motorists on NKVE Highway heading towards Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh-bound and Shah Alam / Subang-bound as indicated on the map below:
The diversions are implemented following the approval from Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia (LLM) and Projek Lebuhraya Usahasama Berhad (PLUS). Throughout the National Recovery Plan (NRP) Phase 4, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction activities.
