SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 9 DECEMBER 2021: Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd (formerly known as MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK)), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be continuation of lane closures and traffic diversions on the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) after the Subang Toll, opposite Petronas and Shell (Subang / Shah Alam-bound) from 12 December 2021 to 19 December 2021 to facilitate U-Girder Launching and LRT3 project-related works from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

During the closure, motorists will be diverted as below:

  • Motorists from Subang Toll heading towards Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang (Subang / Shah Alam-bound) will be diverted to the rightmost lane of NKVE highway.
  • Motorists from Petronas and Shell heading towards Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang (Subang / Shah Alam-bound) will be diverted to the rightmost lane of NKVE highway. Traffic controller will be placed nearby Plaza Glomac and on the NKVE highway to facilitate traffic flow using the “STOP” and “GO” method.

The diversions are implemented following the approval from Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia (LLM), Projek Lebuhraya Usahasama Berhad (PLUS) and Jabatan Kerja Raya Daerah Petaling (JKR Petaling). Throughout the National Recovery Plan (NRP) Phase 4, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction activities.
