Media Release: Temporary lane closures and traffic diversions to facilitate LRT3 project related works on Persiaran Kerjaya, Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang and Jalan SS7/19 from 7 February 2022 to 1 March 2022

 SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 4 FEBRUARY 2022: Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd (formerly known as MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK)), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be temporary lane closures and traffic diversions to facilitate LRT3 project related works on Persiaran Kerjaya, Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang and Jalan SS7/19 from 7 February 2022 to 1 March 2022 (Monday to Sunday), from 11:00 p.m to 5:00 a.m. at the following locations:

Stage 1:

The leftmost lane on Persiaran Kerjaya (Shah Alam-bound) will be closed from 7^th February 2022 to 21^st February 2022. During the closures, one (1) lane will be made available to motorists as shown on the map below:

Stage 2:

The rightmost lane on Persiaran Kerjaya (Shah Alam-bound) will be closed from 8^th February 2022 to 22^nd February 2022. During the closures, one (1) lane will be made available to motorists as shown on the map below:

Stage 3:

Both lanes heading towards Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang will be closed from 9^th February 2022 to 23^rd February 2022. During the closures, motorist will be diverted as below:

• Motorists from Shah Alam heading to Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang will be diverted onto Jalan Pengaturcara U1/51, Jalan Kemajuan Subang, Subang-Kelana Jaya Link and finally back into Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang.
• Motorists from Jalan Rektor U1/7, Jalan Usahawan U1/8 and Jalan Canselor U1/13A heading to Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang will be diverted onto Jalan Kerjaya, Persiaran Kerjaya, Jalan Pengaturcara U1/51, Jalan Kemajuan Subang Subang-Kelana Jaya Link and finally back onto Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang. 

Stage 4:

The rightmost lane on Persiaran Kerjaya and leftmost lane on Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang will be closed from 10^th February 2022 to 24^th February 2022. During the closures, one (1) lane will be made available to motorists as shown on the map below:

Stage 5:

Two (2) lanes on Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang heading towards Kuala Lumpur will be closed from 11^st February 2022 to 25^th February 2022. During the closures, motorists will be diverted to the immediate right lane as shown on the map below:

Stage 6:

Two (2) lanes heading towards Lapangan Terbang Subang will be closed from 12^nd February 2022 to 26^th February 2022. During the closures, motorists will be diverted to the left lane as shown on the map below:

Stage 7:

The rightmost lane heading towards Lapangan Terbang Subang and two lanes heading towards Federal Highway will be closed from 13^th February 2022 to 27^th February 2022. During the closures, one (1) lane will be made available to motorists heading towards Federal Highway and motorists heading towards Lapangan Terbang Subang will be diverted to the immediate left lane as shown on the map below:

Stage 8:

Three (3) lanes heading towards Kuala Lumpur will be closed from 14^th February 2022 to 28^th February 2022. During the closures, motorists heading towards Kuala Lumpur will be diverted to the right lane as shown on the map below:

Stage 9:

Both lanes heading towards Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang will be closed from 15^th February 2022 to 01^st March 2022. During the closures, motorists will be required to make a U-turn in front of the Kelana Jaya Immigration Office to Jalan SS7/26, then right to Jalan SS7/17, Lorong SS7/17k, Jalan Stadium SS 7/15, Jalan SS 7/2 and finally back onto Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang.

The diversions are implemented following the approval from the Jabatan Kerja Raya Petaling (JKR) and Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ). Throughout the National Recovery Plan (NRP) Phase 4 period, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction activities.
