Media Release: Road closure on Persiaran Dato’ Menteri (from Persiaran Damai to Persiaran Tasik junctions, Bulatan Kayangan & Bulatan Permai-bound) and motorcycle lane on Persiaran Sultan as well as traffic diversions to facilitate U-girder launching works and LRT3 project-related works from 20 September 2022 to 31 March 2023

KUALA LUMPUR – 17 SEPTEMBER 2022: Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd (formerly known as MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK)), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be road closure on Persiaran Dato’ Menteri (from Persiaran Damai to Persiaran Tasik junctions, Bulatan Kayangan & Bulatan Permai-bound) and motorcycle lane on Persiaran Sultan as well as traffic diversions to facilitate U-girder launching works and LRT3 project-related works from 20 September 2022 to 31 March 2023, (Monday to Sunday) for 24 hours.

During the closure, motorists will be diverted as indicated on the map below:

• Motorists from Bulatan Kayangan heading towards Bulatan Permai will be diverted onto Persiaran Damai, Persiaran Perbandaran and Persiaran Tasik before turning right towards Bulatan Permai.
• Motorists from Pos Malaysia heading towards Bulatan Permai will be diverted onto Jalan Ikhtisas, Persiaran Perbandaran and Persiaran Tasik before turning right towards Bulatan Permai.
• Motorists from BSN Tower heading towards Bulatan Permai will be diverted onto Persiaran Bandaraya, Persiaran Perbandaran and Persiaran Tasik before turning right towards Bulatan Permai.
• Motorist from Bulatan Permai heading towards Bulatan Kayangan will be diverted onto Persiaran Tasik, Persiaran Perbandaran, Persiaran Damai and turn left onto Persiaran Dato’ Menteri.
• Motorcyclists from LKSA heading towards Federal Highway (KL-bound) will be diverted onto Persiaran Sultan and head straight towards Federal Highway (KL-bound).

The diversions are implemented following the approval from the Shah Alam Municipal Council (MBSA).
