Media Release: Intermittent lane closures and traffic diversion on KM8.0 to KM8.6 Federal Highway, (Kuala Lumpur-bound) to facilitate U-girder launching works and other LRT3 project-related works from 19 October 2022 to 10 November 2022

KUALA LUMPUR – 17 OCTOBER 2022: Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd (formerly known as MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK)), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be intermittent lane closures and traffic diversion on KM8.0 to KM8.6 Federal Highway, (Kuala Lumpur-bound) to facilitate U-girder launching works and other LRT3 project-related works from 19 October 2022 to 10 November 2022 (Monday to Sunday), 11: 00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

During the closures, motorists from Klang heading towards Kuala Lumpur will be diverted to the right most-lane as indicated on the map below:

The diversion is implemented following the approval from the Petaling Public Works Department (JKR Petaling).
