Media Release: Intermittent road closures and traffic diversions on Jalan SS7/19 (Federal Highway-bound), Persiaran Kerjaya (Kuala Lumpur & Subang Airport-bound) and Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang (Kuala Lumpur, Lapangan Terbang Subang & Federal Highway-bound) to facilitate TNB works for the LRT3 project from 27 October 2022 to 31 October 2022

KUALA LUMPUR – 24 OCTOBER 2022: Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd (formerly known as MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK)), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be intermittent road closures and traffic diversions on Jalan SS7/19 (Federal Highway-bound), Persiaran Kerjaya (Kuala Lumpur & Subang Airport-bound) and Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang (Kuala Lumpur, Lapangan Terbang Subang & Federal Highway-bound) to facilitate TNB works for the LRT3 project from 27 October 2022 to 31 October 2022 (Thursday to Monday), from 10:00 p.m. to 5.00 a.m. at the following locations:

 

Closure A: Jalan SS7/19 (Federal Highway-bound), Persiaran Kerjaya (Kuala Lumpur-bound) and Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang (Kuala Lumpur, Lapangan Terbang Subang & Federal Highway-bound) will be closed.

During closure, flagmen will be placed at both ends to facilitate the traffic flow using ‘STOP’ and ‘GO’ method as indicated on the map below:

Closure B: Three (3) lanes on Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang (Kuala Lumpur, Lapangan Terbang Subang & Federal Highway-bound) will be closed.

During the closures, one (1) lane on each bound will be made available for motorists as shown on the map below:

 

The diversions are implemented following the approval from the Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ) and Jabatan Kerja Raya Daerah Petaling (JKR Petaling).
