Media Release: Road closure and traffic diversion on KM8.7 Federal Highway (in front of Shell Petrol Station, KL-bound) to facilitate U-girder launching works and LRT3 project-related works from 7 November 2022 to 5 December 2022

KUALA LUMPUR – 4 NOVEMBER 2022: Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd (formerly known as MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK)), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be a road closure and traffic diversion on KM8.7 Federal Highway (in front of Shell Petrol Station, KL-bound) to facilitate U-girder launching works and LRT3 project-related works from 7 November 2022 to 5 December 2022, (Monday – Sunday) from 11.00 p.m. to 5.00 a.m.

During the closure, motorists from Petronas and Klang heading towards Kuala Lumpur will be diverted onto Shell service road as shown on the map below:

The diversion is implemented following the approval from Petaling Public Works Department (JKR Petaling).
