Media Release : Traffic Announcement Lane Closures And Traffic Diversions On New Klang Valley Expressway (Nkve) From 17 July 2023 To 29 July 2023

KUALA LUMPUR – 14 JULY 2023: Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd, the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be lane closures and traffic diversions on the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) from KM14.9 to KM16.2 (Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh & Shah Alam / Subang-bound) to facilitate Link Bridge launching and LRT3 project-related works from 17 July 2023 to 29 July 2023 (Monday to Sunday), 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. in the following stages:

Stage 1: The rightmost and middle lanes of the NKVE (both Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh & Shah Alam / Subang-bound) will be closed from 17 July 2023 to 19 July 2023.

• During the closures, two (2) lanes will be made available to motorists from Subang / Shah Alam heading towards Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh.

• Three (3) lanes will be made available to motorists from Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh heading towards Subang / Shah Alam.

Stage 2: All lanes opposite Petronas and Shell Station heading towards Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh-bound and the rightmost & middle lanes of the NKVE heading towards Shah Alam / Subang-bound will be closed from 28 July 2023 to 29 July 2023.

• Motorists from Shah Alam / Subang heading towards Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh will be diverted to the opposite side of NKVE Highway via contra-flow traffic. Three (3) lanes will be made available to motorists from Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh heading towards Shah Alam / Subang.

• Motorists from Shah Alam / Subang heading towards Petronas and Shell will be diverted to the rightmost lane nearby Vista Subang Apartment.

• Motorists from Petronas heading towards NKVE Highway will be diverted to the leftmost lane then head straight to NKVE Highway (Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh bound).

• Motorists from Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh on the rightmost lane will be diverted to the middle lane of NKVE Highway when approaching the flagman controlling the contra-flow.

Stage 3: All lanes next to Aman Suria shop lots and Dataran Prima heading towards Subang / Shah Alam-bound and the rightmost & middle lanes of the NKVE heading towards Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh-bound will be closed from 4 August 2023 to 5 August 2023.

• Motorists from Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh heading towards Shah Alam / Subang will be diverted to the opposite side of NKVE Highway via contra-flow traffic. Two (2) lanes will be made available to motorists from Shah Alam / Subang heading towards Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh.

• Motorists from Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh on the rightmost lane will be diverted to the middle lane of NKVE Highway when approaching the flagman controlling the contra-flow.

The diversions are implemented following the approval from Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia (LLM) and Projek Lebuhraya Usahasama Berhad (PLUS).
