Media Release : Traffic Announcement Road Closures And Traffic Diversions On Lebuh Bandar Utama Near Flyover (Bu1 And Bu11 Bound) From 11 August 2023 To 30 November 2023

KUALA LUMPUR – 8 AUGUST 2023: Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd, the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be intermittent road closures and traffic diversions on Lebuh Bandar Utama near the flyover (BU1 and BU11 bound) to facilitate LRT3 project-related works from 11 August 2023 to 30 November 2023, (Monday to Saturday), 10.00 p.m. to 6.00 a.m. in the following stages.

Stage 1: Three (3) lanes on the flyover at Lebuh Bandar Utama (BU11 bound) will be closed.

During the closure, motorists heading to Lebuh Bandar Utama (BU11 bound) will be diverted via contra flow and one (1) lane will be made available to motorists heading to Lebuh Bandar Utama (BU1 bound) as shown in the map below:

Stage 2: Two (2) lanes on the flyover at Lebuh Bandar Utama (BU1 bound) will be closed.

During the closure, motorists heading to Lebuh Bandar Utama (BU1 bound) will be diverted via contra flow and two (2) lanes will be made available to motorists heading to Lebuh Bandar Utama (BU11 bound) as shown in the map below:

Stage 3: Two (2) lanes on the slip road Lebuh Bandar Utama (Damansara bound) will be closed.

During the closure, motorists heading to slip road Lebuh Bandar Utama (Damansara bound) will be diverted to Lebuh Bandar Utama (BU1 bound), make a U turn opposite Centre point and turn to slip road opposite Ming Tien as shown in the map below:

Stage 4: Leftmost and middle lanes at Lebuh Bandar Utama (BU11 bound) will be closed.

During the closure, one (1) lane will be made available to motorists heading to Lebuh Bandar Utama (BU11 bound) as shown in the map below:

Stage 5: Two (2) lanes at Jalan Tanjung (Jalan Tanjung bound) will be closed.

During the closure, one (1) lane at Jalan Tanjung will be made available to motorists from Lebuh Bandar Utama heading to Jalan Tanjung and one (1) lane will be made available motorists from Jalan Tanjung to Lebuh Bandar Utama as shown in the map below:

Stage 6: Two (2) lanes at Jalan Tanjung (Lebuh Bandar Utama bound) will be closed.

During the closure, one (1) lane will be made available to motorists heading to Lebuh Bandar Utama and one (1) lane will also be made available for motorists heading to Jalan Tanjung as shown in the map below:

Stage 7: Three (3) lanes at Lebuh Bandar Utama (BU1 bound) will be closed.

During the closure, motorists from Jalan Tanjung heading to Lebuh Bandar Utama (BU1 bound) will be diverted via contra flow and two (2) lanes will be made available to motorists heading to BU11 as shown on the map below: 

The diversions are implemented following the approval from Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ).
