Traffic Announcement: Road Closures and Traffic Diversions on Jalan Meru & Jalan Pasar Baru, Klang from 20 November 2023 Until 1 December 2023

KUALA LUMPUR – 17 NOVEMBER 2023: Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd, the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be road closures and traffic diversions on Jalan Meru and Jalan Pasar Baru (near Pasar Besar Klang), to facilitate U-girder launching works and other LRT3 project-related works from 20 November 2023 to 1 December 2023, Monday to Sunday, from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. in the following stages:

Stage 1: Jalan Pasar Baru (Jalan Meru-bound will be closed from 20 November 2023 to 23 November 2023. Motorists from Pasar Besar Klang heading towards Jalan Meru will be diverted to Jalan Pasar Baru 3, turn right onto Jalan Pasar Baru 2 then left turn onto Jalan Dataran Marvelene before heading back to Jalan Meru as shown on the map below:

Stage 2: Jalan Meru (Klang-bound) will be closed from 24 November 2023 to 1 December 2023. Motorists heading towards Jalan Meru (Klang-bound) will be diverted onto Jalan Pasar Baru, towards the Pasar Besar Klang route then back to Jalan Meru as shown on the map below:

The diversions are implemented following the approval from Klang Municipal Council (MPK).
